Appendix 9. Electronic Transaction Fee
This document is an appendix to the HVAC Unit Replacement contract for the Range Operations Building in Glen Arm, Maryland, establishing the electronic transaction fee structure for the State of Maryland. The appendix outlines the fee imposed on bidders and contractors who conduct transactions electronically through the state's procurement system. The fee applies to all electronic submissions, bids, and related documentation submitted as part of the procurement process for this project. The document specifies the amount of the electronic transaction fee and clarifies when this fee becomes applicable during the bidding and contract execution phases.
The electronic transaction fee represents a mandatory cost that must be considered by all potential bidders submitting proposals for the HVAC unit replacement project. This fee is a standard requirement for participation in Maryland's electronic procurement system and must be factored into overall project costs and bidding strategies. The appendix ensures transparency regarding all costs associated with electronic participation in the state procurement process and establishes uniform fee structures across all interested contractors and vendors.
