About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 3 issued by the City of Kissimmee for the Woodside Drainage Improvements Project, specifically soliciting Professional Services for Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) under Bid No. RFQ2025-007. The addendum provides clarifications and responses to six key questions from potential proposers, addressing technical details about the project, including FAA and stormwater permits, verification testing requirements, specification standards, airfield operational protocols, and subconsultant participation guidelines. The project appears to involve drainage improvements with work taking place within airport limits, requiring specific safety and operational compliance.
The addendum outlines critical requirements for contractors, including mandatory Airfield/Safety Training for foremen or crew leads, gate guard provisions during hauling, use of lime green cones to delineate construction limits, and mandatory check-ins with airport operations personnel before each construction phase. The governing technical specifications will be the FDOT January 2021 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Proposers are required to acknowledge receipt of the addendum by completing the appropriate section in the original Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document and submitting it with their proposal. Additional project-specific documents, including the FAA permit, Stormwater permit, and Geotechnical report, are available via a provided Dropbox link.
