About this file
This is a Special Provisions document for the Rainbow Lakes Estates Ivy Place Road Improvement Project in Florida. The project involves the reclamation and widening of existing roadways, with clearing and grubbing work to expand the pavement from 18 feet to 20 feet. Work includes importing limerock to re-establish proper roadway slope and widening, regrading of high shoulders and swales, sodding of both shoulders and roadside right-of-way areas, and thermoplastic striping. Additional drainage improvements are specified for the 20154 SW Rainbow Lakes Boulevard drainage area, which requires excavation and grading of a swale approximately 250 feet long by 23 feet wide by 1.5 feet deep, including excavation, rough grading, ditchblocks, dirt berm along the property line, finish grading, and sodding.
The special provisions document establishes the technical and administrative requirements for contractors bidding on and executing this road improvement project. These provisions typically include standard specifications for materials, construction methods, quality standards, safety requirements, and other contractual obligations that contractors must follow throughout the project duration. The document serves as a binding addendum to the main contract documents and establishes specific conditions particular to this improvement project in the Rainbow Lakes Estates community.
