Question and Answer Ver 2/12/2026
1. Is a specific business license or business registration required to perform work under this RFP? If so, may the selected vendor obtain and provide the required license and business registration after contract award, or must it be submitted as part of the proposal?
1A. All vendors should be legally authorized to work in the US and the State of Utah, and hold a business license that reflects that, prior to submitting a proposal.
2. Is the selected vendor permitted to engage personnel located outside the United States (e.g., in India) to fulfill the project requirements of this RFP?
2A. There is no limitation on where vendor employees work, as long as the business operates and transacts legally in the US and the State of Utah.
3. Are there any requirements for in-person meetings either before or after the contract is awarded? If so, how frequently are these meetings expected to occur, and would it be acceptable to conduct some or all of these meetings virtually?
3A. There are no required in-person meetings before this contract is awarded. Meetings are required after the contract is awarded, and may be held virtually. Frequency will be determined after the contract is awarded.
4. Is ongoing technical support, maintenance, and updates mandatory, and can they be provided remotely, or is on-site support mandatory under this contract?
4A. All technical support, maintenance, or updates during the contract are mandatory. They can be provided virtually as long as the availability to make changes or provide support aligns with Southwest Tech's office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST). Any technical support, maintenance, or updates after the contract are optional, and any details regarding ongoing services can be discussed near the end of the contract.
5. Could you please confirm whether past performance references from private and non-profit organizations are acceptable?
5A. Past performance references may include any designation of an organization deemed suitable by the vendor.
