About this file
This document outlines significant changes to the 2022 Transit Bus Program solicitation. Key details include expanding the period of performance to a base period of 60 months from October 2021 through September 2026 with no option periods. New schedules of items are included for BYD Coach and Bus LLC, El Dorado National Co, Gillig, and Proterra, in addition to retaining previous schedules for New Flyer of America and NOVA-Volvo. Weekly status report procedures and damage-in-transit procedures will be established with contractors. All proposal documents must now be submitted through FedConnect, and copies of VETS 4212 reports are no longer required. Open season periods will replace option periods to allow contractors to update pricing and propose new items annually.
