2) PROVIDE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AS SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THE RFP
**Please note: additional information is provided below from what was stated during the Pre-Proposal Conference; please read all responses below even if you were in attendance at the Conference.
Q1: Who is our POC for questions relating to FedConnect?
A1: Craig Yokum (craig.yokum@gsa.gov) and Brandon Posey (brandon.posey@gsa.gov).
Q2: Does GSA go out for Final Proposal Revisions?
A2: Yes. Final Proposal Revisions will be requested if necessary.
Q3: Is there a limitation on FedConnect for submitting documentation?
A3: Recommended individual file size is 25MB or less with a total size for all attachments of 100 MB or less.
Q4: Once the contracts are awarded, will we receive order confirmations via fax?
A4: Yes. You’ll receive Motor Vehicle Delivery Orders (MVDOs) via fax. Those are processed each evening at 4pm ET. However, any requests for additional requirements (AREQs) will be emailed to vendors directly.
Q5: Is there ever a time when the vendor interacts with the end user? Is there ever a time when the vendor may not know who the end user is?
A5: Yes, customers may reach out to discuss specifications and availability. We ask that you forward all questions related to pricing.
Q6: In regards to the bidding of options on multiple vendors, will there be a time frame defined for submission of the additional pricing? Many times there may be a two week wait on request for quote from vendors.
A6: Vendors will be given ample time to respond to requests. Those requests are usually fulfilled within 7-14 calendar days.
Q7: Do we have to wait until the open season to submit new, emerging technology?
A7: Both awardees and new offerors will have the ability to submit new electric makes/models via item 888E at any time throughout the 60 month period of performance.
Q8: There was discussion about September 27th and September 29th. What is due by those deadlines?
A8: The September 27th deadline relates to the pricing data for the SINs the offeror is bidding on that must be submitted in AutoBid. Once the data is entered and submitted in AutoBid, the vendor prints out the proof report to submit with the Administrative, Technical, and Pricing volumes of the offeror’s proposal which is due on September 29th.
Q9: Will upcoming GSA systems modernization efforts impact ordering in AutoChoice and compatibility with contractor systems, and what is the timeline for these changes?
A9: Questions relating to GSA systems modernization and contractor systems should be directed to Jessica Huff at jessica.huff@gsa.gov, who will be holding workshops with existing contractors to discuss this effort in the coming weeks.
