1. Question: Drawings show schedule 40 piping for sprinkler piping. Can schedule 10 piping be used instead?
Answer: No substitutions are allowed outside of the specified materials.
2. Question: Is there a chance for a new sprinkler 6" run-in to the addition instead of having to run the proposed 4" above the existing ceilings (200' +/-) back to the existing riser location which is very limited in space? This would eliminate a lot of disturbance with the facility and night work.
Answer: The contractor shall bid the project in accordance with the plans and specifications.
3. The S-4 window type is listed as Blast/Ballistic Resistant (Door, Glass & Frame). The Glazing Specs requires compliance with UFC 4-010-01. The manual does not require ballistic resistant glazing for the building envelope. Please confirm that ballistic resistant glazing is not required.

Answer: The contractor shall bid the plans and specifications as provided. This is really a trench and not accessible until abated.
9. Door CB-12.1 floor plans indicate this as storefront, door schedule indicate this door as hollow metal, I would think this is storefront.
Answer: Please refer to door schedule on drawing AE601. Door CB-12.1 is hollow metal.
10. On door schedule, AE601, what is note N in remarks column.
Answer: Disregard note N, as it has been removed from the drawings.
11. Glazing schedule needs to be added to door schedule.
