About this file

The document is a Solicitation Amendment issued by the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES), specifically Amendment No. 2 to Solicitation No. 15722 for Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Services. The amendment is dated 11/9/2023 and modifies the original competitive solicitation, with updates to various exhibits and the competitive solicitation document itself.

The solicitation seeks to establish a contract for vehicle maintenance and repair services, covering maintenance and repair for combustion engine and electric vehicles. Key changes include extending the bidding deadline to January 12th, 2024, clarifying diagnostic labor billing, and adding requirements for bidders to adhere to industry-standard labor guides. The amendment also requires bidders to indicate which vehicle lines and manufacturers they are certified to work on, and updates category headings for maintenance, repair, and body repair services. The solicitation allows for both electronic and hard copy bid submissions, with specific requirements for file formats and email size limitations.
