The solicitation seeks fixed-fee contract pricing for comprehensive cemetery grounds maintenance services including regular weekly mowing, biweekly trimming and edging, monument and memorial care, seasonal cleanup, and equipment provision across multiple cemetery locations. Specific maintenance requirements include maintaining lawn heights of 3-4 inches, edging along walkways and flower beds, trimming around monuments and trees without causing damage, removing winter debris by ten days prior to Easter, and completing fall leaf removal by November 1. Service providers must adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA compliance, proper use of personal protective equipment, and awareness of underground utilities and cemetery visitors. Proposals must be submitted electronically through PennBid, with annual fixed-fee pricing billed evenly over an 8-month service period from mid-March through mid-November.
Bidders must submit pricing proposals identifying annual fixed fees that will be invoiced in equal installments over the 8-month operational window. The contract type is a fixed-fee arrangement with evaluation based on service provider capability and reasonable pricing for both parties. No specific response deadline, bidder conference, or site visit requirements are identified in the document. Life Remembered will review all submitted proposals and issue a formal contract to the selected service provider outlining final agreed terms and conditions. Questions regarding the solicitation should be submitted electronically through PennBid's "Ask a Question" feature, with responses provided via public notice and addendum when necessary.
