About this file
This document is a North Dakota State Contract (Contract #255-1) for Maintenance Repair and Operation (MRO) and Supplies, which establishes a cooperative purchasing contract available to state entities, higher education institutions, government bodies (including counties, cities, townships, educational entities, governmental boards, commissions), nonprofit entities, tribal agencies, transportation providers, and the International Peace Garden. The contract is open-ended and allows various government and public organizations to participate in purchasing MRO supplies.
The contract covers 10 market basket product categories including fasteners, air filters, motors, batteries, paint, pneumatic and power tools, hand tools, welding supplies, and related items, with a percentage discount for non-listed products. Pricing is firm for the initial contract period, with potential price increases allowed up to two times per renewal period. Orders can be placed via purchase order or purchasing card, with no minimum order requirement. Delivery lead times are specified as 48 hours for in-stock items and 10 working days for non-stocked items. The contract has purchase limits, with orders up to $200,000 permitted, and certain product categories are excluded to prevent overlap with existing state contracts. Participating agencies can access vendor pricing and product details through the State Procurement website.

This contract is a cooperative purchasing contract established pursuant to N.D.C.C § 54-44.4-13. This contract is made available to state entities, institutions under the jurisdiction of the State Board of Higher Education, other government entities (including counties, cities, townships, public primary and secondary educational entities, governmental boards and commissions), nonprofit entities established on behalf of public entities, tribal agencies, transportation providers under N.D.C.C § 39-04.2, and the International Peace Garden (hereafter known as “Ordering Agencies”). After the firm-fixed period concludes, the CONTRACTOR may submit a request for a price increase to the Procurement Officer not more than two (2) times per each renewal period. All shipments are to be billed at prices in effect at the time of the order, not the date the shipment is made.
Market Basket and Percentage Off pricing can be viewed on the State Procurement website, under Contract #255-1. You can view pricing by vendor, which includes all their awarded categories, or you can view by product category.
MINIMUM ORDER
There is no minimum order amount under this Contract; however, some products may be limited by manufacturer packaging, therefore CONTRACTOR(s) may require case quantity be ordered.
