About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document related to ITB 2027-001 for Custodial Services for Multiple Sites in Maryland. The document addresses inquiries submitted by prospective bidders regarding the solicitation requirements, scope of work, and bidding procedures. Key topics addressed in the Q&A include clarifications on service specifications, staffing requirements, scheduling expectations, facility access, and documentation requirements for the custodial services contract. The document provides official responses from the issuing agency to ensure all bidders have consistent and accurate information for preparing their proposals. These clarifications help bidders understand the specific expectations and standards required for performance under this multi-site custodial services contract.
The Q&A document serves as an official addendum to the original ITB, establishing uniform interpretation of contract terms and requirements across all interested bidders. By addressing common questions and potential areas of confusion, the document reduces ambiguity in proposal submissions and helps ensure that all bids are developed under the same understanding of project requirements. This format allows the agency to maintain competitive fairness while accommodating legitimate clarification requests from the bidding community prior to proposal submission deadlines.
