About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ No. 140A0925Q0005 regarding Oak Ridge Timber Sales for the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Navajo Region Branch of Forestry. The document addresses four key questions about the scope and requirements of the timber sale preparation project.

The Q&A clarifies that stand exams and timber sale cruise requirements cover the entire timber sale area of approximately 9,862-10,005 actual acres (potentially up to 10,495 acres). While the contractor will develop components of the Forest Officers Report (FOR), they are not required to prepare the final FOR. All deliverables must be submitted in both hard copy and editable electronic format. Proposals should be submitted via email to Contract Specialist Lynelle Benallie. The timber appraisal should include three methods: Residual Value Analysis, Transaction Evidence Appraisal, and Base Rates.
