About this file
This federal solicitation requests proposals for construction services to improve access to heritage sites within the Coconino National Forest. Work includes preparing sites and constructing a walkway, viewing platform, and concrete sidewalk. Optional items involve preparing parking areas and installing signage and fencing. Proposals are due by July 20, 2021.
The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside with a size standard of $39.5M for civil engineering construction. The contract value is between $100,000-$250,000, and prevailing Davis-Bacon wages apply. Offerors must be registered in SAM and submit payment protection in the form of a letter of credit, bonds, or escrow. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract to the best-valued proposal as determined by a tradeoff of non-price factors and price reasonableness. A site visit is scheduled for June 30th to review the Elden Pueblo and V Bar V Platform work sites.
