Solicitation 1240LU25B0003 GAOA Forest Wide SST Replacement BDNF, various locations

Questions and Answers

5/13/2025

1. After reviewing the GPS Coordinates Excel file provided on April 29 and Attachment 3 (Drawing Plans), clarification is needed: Is the South Boulder Dispersed Site (1 vault) shown on Sheet 18 of the plan set the same as the West Forks Campground listed in the Excel file?

The map on sheet 3 is incorrect as well as the lat/long. South Boulder Dispersed Site is part of this project, West Fork Campground is part of another project. Emily, can you issue a new Lat/long table for clarification?

2. Regarding site access, are there any restrictions we should be aware of (e.g., crossing private property, limitations related to bridges including GVWR or dimensional restrictions, etc.)?

To my knowledge, we do not have those restrictions.

3. The period of performance is listed as 883 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Will the contractor be required to perform work during a specific time of year, such as only during summer months and not during winter?

Most sites are only accessible during summer. No seasonal requirement.

4. Will the contractor be restricted to working at one location at a time, or is work at multiple sites simultaneously permitted?

Working at multiple sites simultaneously is allowed.

5. Will the contractor be allowed to temporarily shut down public access to a site during construction activities?

The area immediately around the SST will be allowed to be closed during construction.

6. Is the contractor required to provide temporary porta potties for public use during construction?

No.

7. Will compaction or density testing be required as part of backfilling or site grading?

Toilets will need to be installed per manufacturer recommendations. See sheet 4 notes for more information.

Yes. Toilets are generally accessible. Some clearing and grubbing might be required for site prep/access (see schedule of items).
