About this file
This document is a Technical Data Sheet for Tack Away, a liquid detackifier product manufactured by SealMaster for hot-applied crack sealants. The technical data sheet provides comprehensive product information, including specifications, application methods, safety guidelines, and warranty details. The document appears to be a product specification sheet rather than a state or local contract, and does not explicitly reference any specific government contract, jurisdiction, or procurement vehicle.
The product Tack Away is designed to prevent tracking of freshly applied hot pour crack sealants, eliminate sealant stickiness, and provide a barrier between tires and fresh sealant. It is available in 5-gallon pails and can be applied by spray, with one gallon covering 1,000 to 2,000 feet of cracks depending on application rate. The product is water-based, environmentally-friendly, and biodegradable, with a pH range of 9.0-11.0. The technical sheet includes detailed mixing and application procedures, safety precautions, first aid instructions, and a warranty disclaimer that limits the manufacturer's liability to the replacement value of the product.
