The scope covers maintenance and repairs for 11 utility carts (Taylor Dunn and Evolution Classic models, ranging from 36V to 48V systems) at a single location (800 N. Alameda Street). Services must be available Monday through Friday during business hours (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evening hours (9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.), with two-hour emergency response required seven days a week at no additional cost. Preventative maintenance includes battery servicing, tire pressure checks, brake inspection, electric motor service, and cart cleaning. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, chemicals, transportation, and comply with Cal-OSHA and Metro safety protocols, proper hazardous-waste handling, and current permits and licenses throughout the contract term.
The contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewal periods at Metro's sole discretion. Pricing is requested on a fully burdened hourly rate basis covering all materials, labor, equipment, taxes, insurance, travel time, overhead, and profit.
