About this file

This is a Task Order Procedure document issued by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) establishing the framework for contract administration and service delivery under a master service agreement. The document outlines Metro's process for initiating and executing task orders, including the requirement that Metro's Project Manager issue a Task Order form containing a brief scope of work, required completion date, and delivery requirements. The Contractor must submit a completed, signed Task Order with a firm fixed price based on unit rates, including a detailed breakdown of services by quantity and rate. Upon receipt of the fully executed Task Order, the Contractor has two working days to submit a detailed work plan and schedule for approval. Project delivery timelines are specified within individual task orders, and all task orders are subject to Metro audit upon completion of services.

The pricing structure requires contractors to provide labor rates, labor hours, materials costs, and other expenses with a final total amount not to exceed the specified Task Order amount. The related solicitation for Utility Carts Maintenance & Repair Services at Union Station East and West Portals invites quotes from all vendors for routine and as-needed preventative maintenance, with quotes due by 4:00 P.M. PDT on August 28, 2026, submitted via email to narvaezr@metro.net. Award will be based on best value to Metro as determined from bidder-submitted information including minimum qualifications and schedule of quantities and prices. Questions must be submitted at least three business days prior to the solicitation close date.
