The scope includes soil management and disposal services, field office support, traffic control, mobilization, and installation of hydrodynamic separators, infiltration swales, infiltration basins, underground infiltration systems, sand filters, wet basins, and disconnection systems. Key line items include hauling and stockpiling of contaminated soils (59,241 tons), soil disposal operations (approximately 14,353 to 50,000 tons per type), maintenance of erosion and sediment controls (lump sum with $30,000 minimum), 24 months of field office support, and one stabilized gravel paved lot. Detailed engineering drawings and site-specific specifications are provided in Volume 2 Plan Set.

Bidders must submit a proposal guaranty (bid bond) equal to 5 percent of the total bid amount from a surety company authorized to do business in Rhode Island, and the successful bidder will furnish a performance bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price. Required insurance includes general liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence), workers compensation ($100,000 each accident), and automobile liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit). A contract administrative fee of 0.33 percent will be withheld from all payments. Questions are due September 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT. Contact M. Scott Stephens at the Department of Transportation, (401) 574-8152.
