About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard seeks preventive maintenance services for air compression equipment at Base Miami Beach, with proposals due August 12, 2026. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside, firm-fixed-price services contract awarded under FAR Part 13 simplified acquisition procedures.
Performance location is USCG Base Miami Beach, 100 MacArthur Causeway, Miami, FL 33139. The contractor must provide two annual preventive maintenance visits—one minor and one major service—for four pieces of equipment: two NXD rotary screw air compressors (Models NXD55 and NXD75), one PNA500 refrigerated air dryer, and one FCE5/7 inline filter. During major services, the contractor must replace two FCE5/7 filter elements and provide complete oil sample laboratory analysis with formal written reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative, including wear metals and viscosity data. The contractor must respond to emergency corrective repair calls within 48 hours; emergency work is billed separately upon approval. Work is subject to Service Contract Act prevailing wage determination 2015-4543, Revision 35 (Dade County, effective May 14, 2026), and OSHA compliance. Facility operating hours are 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays.
The period of performance is base year August 17, 2026 through August 16, 2027, plus two option years of identical scope (August 17, 2027–August 16, 2028 and August 17, 2028–August 16, 2029). NAICS code 811310 applies; small business size standard is $12.5 million. Evaluation criteria are technical capability (rated Acceptable or Unacceptable based on SOW compliance) and price based on total evaluated price across all base and option year line items. Invoicing is processed through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). Offers must be submitted by email to SK1 Alera Jowers at Alera.D.Jowers@uscg.mil. Award will be issued within five business days of solicitation close. Amendment A00001, issued August 10, extended the close date from August 11 to August 12.
