About this opportunity
The Department of the Army's Management Support Office is seeking potential sources for design, fabrication, installation, and repair of three wall displays located in the Pentagon's E-Ring Corridor. Specifically, the project involves creating displays for the G-1 Front Office, Pentagon 9/11 Memorial Wall, and M&RA Front Office, with technical requirements outlined in attached specifications. The Sources Sought Notice (SSN) and Request for Information (RFI) aims to conduct market research and procurement planning, with responses due by February 5, 2025. Interested contractors must demonstrate capabilities to deliver high-quality displays with comparable aesthetics to previous Pentagon installations. Responses are limited to 5 pages and must include comprehensive company information, technical capabilities, product descriptions, past performance, and GSA schedule contract details.
The procurement is not currently set aside for any specific business category, but the government is specifically interested in evaluating potential set-aside opportunities for small businesses, including veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, small-disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses. Blair Inc. of Springfield, Virginia is noted as a previous contractor with experience in similar wall display projects. The contract requires contractors to develop design concepts within 15 days of receiving government sketches, submit safety plans, and provide a one-year warranty for installed displays. Work must be completed during standard business hours (0800-1630, Monday through Friday), and contractors will need to obtain Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) permits. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the project involves three distinct wall display installations at the Pentagon, with detailed technical requirements for design, fabrication, and installation.
