About this opportunity

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with SomaLogic to procure SomaScan Assay Kits. These kits are required by the Center for Human Immunology, Inflammation, and Autoimmunity (CHI) to generate proteomic data that will be coupled with other experimental techniques to develop a systems immunology-based model of disease. The kits include the SomaScan 7K and 11K Assay kits for various sample types. This is not a request for proposal, but any responsible sources capable of providing comparable services may submit a capability statement by June 28, 2024, which the government will consider.

This acquisition is not set aside for any specific category. SomaLogic is the sole manufacturer of the required kits, which are designed to exclusively integrate with the company's proprietary equipment and software. The period of performance is from August 12, 2024 to August 11, 2025, and the place of delivery is Bethesda, MD.
