This solicitation will be for a firm fixed price (FFP), indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ), Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract for the acquisition of multi-disciplined construction projects at Moody AFB, Grand Bay Range, Grassy Pond, and Spence Field, Georgia, and Avon Park, Florida.
Competition will be limited to eligible 8(a) firms that are serviced by the SBA office within the Region IV area and/or that have a bona fide branch office located within the Region IV area. A bona fide branch office is a place of business for purposes of 8(a) construction procurements located where an 8(a) participant regularly maintains an office which employs at least one full time individual within the appropriate geographical boundary. This solicitation is being synopsized under North Atlantic International Commerce System (NAICS) Code 236220. The small business size standard is $33,500,000.00.
Individual jobs will vary in size ($2,000 - $750,000) with a majority expected to be small to medium size ($30,000 - $400,000). The jobs will include, but are not limited to, tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, welding, HVAC, asbestos removal, etc.
The basic contract period will be for 1 year, with four 1 year options, which may be exercised at the option of the Government. The guaranteed minimum dollar amount for the term of the contract is $5,000.00. The maximum dollar value is $40,000.000.00 for the term of the contract. For status of your firm, contact Georgia District Small Business Office at (404) 331-0100, ext 509. The Government will select the best overall offer based upon Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal.
The solicitation will be issued via Federal business Opportunities at http://fedbizops.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, or plans will be issued from this office.
