About this opportunity
The National Institutes of Health, Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations, has awarded a sole-source modification to Task Order 75N92023F00002 with Triple Point Security, Inc., extending IT Modernization and Zero Trust Architecture Program Management Office support for 12 months (September 20, 2026 through September 19, 2027) with a modification value of $1,542,774.16.
The justification cites GSAM/R 538.7104-3(b)(1)(iii) as a logical follow-on to the competitively awarded task order under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) framework. The sole-source rationale centers on continuity of the NIH-specific Phase 1 baseline and the estimated three-to-six-month cost and schedule inefficiency required for a replacement contractor to reconstruct institutional knowledge. The modification increases the total task order value from $14,475,229.15 to $16,018,003.31 and remains within the parent 8(a) BPA 75N92023A00005 ceiling of $47,500,000, with $8,509,229.25 capacity remaining through the BPA ordering period of February 20, 2028. Services include PMO support, governance, roadmap re-engineering, and coordination for Phase 1 re-engineering deliverables supporting NIH's transition from decentralized to centralized IT governance. Phase 2 implementation work is being separately competed under GSA HACS small business procedures with anticipated award by September 30, 2026.
