About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center is seeking to procure specific MH-65 helicopter spare parts through a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. The solicitation (Number 70Z03825QB0000065) targets six line items of aviation components, including light and emblem parts, with strict requirements for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) traceability. Only newly manufactured commercial items with a Certificate of Conformance will be accepted, and no substitute or alternate parts will be considered. The procurement is anticipated to be awarded as a sole-source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Clayton International, Inc., the identified OEM for these specialized helicopter components. Quotes must be submitted via email by April 7, 2025, at 9:00am EDT, with the solicitation number noted in the subject line. The evaluation will focus on the vendor's ability to provide genuine, traceable OEM parts that meet the strict technical specifications.

The solicitation has no specific small business set-aside, though the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. Clayton International, Inc. (CAGE Code 08EX5) is the expected sole source contractor, located in Peachtree City, Georgia. The government may increase quantities for each line item, with options to expand purchases by up to 30-50 units depending on the specific line item, potentially increasing the total maximum quantities to between 10-75 units. The anticipated delivery date is July 1, 2025, with the Contracting Officer able to exercise quantity modification options within one calendar year after the purchase order award. The procurement is classified under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) and PSC code 6220 (Electric Vehicular Lights and Fixtures). While specific award values are not disclosed, the solicitation allows for potential expansion of the initial order through unilateral modifications by the government.
