About this opportunity
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS) has published a Special Notice for a sole source purchase order for Solid Waste Collection/Disposal/Recycling Services for the Pinon Health Center. The NAIHS intends to award the non-competitive contract to Navajo Sanitation, citing FAR Part 6.302-1 which allows for an award with only one responsible source when no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract will cover the provision of solid waste and recycling pick-up and disposal services for the Chinle Service Unit facilities and residential quarters, with a one-year base period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 and four one-year option periods. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but the NAIHS will consider any responses that provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. Respondents are advised that the government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of information or provide feedback, and a determination not to compete the proposed procurement is solely at the government's discretion. Any solicitation resulting from this analysis will be publicly announced, but responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a future solicitation.
