PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCEPARTICIPATION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY REIMBURSTMENT OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION AND OR PRESENTATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE.
SCOPE:
The United States Air Force (USAF) has a need to field a system capable of addressing the issues posed by Degraded Visual Environments (DVE). The HH-60G DVES solution aims to specifically address the operational limitations and safety risks associated with aircraft-induced DVE (brownout/whiteout). This effort will consist of the material solution and all non-recurring engineering required to install a DVE solution on to the HH-60G PaveHawk helicopter, including integration, testing, certification, and the procurement of DVES kits. Because this effort will be funded with 3010 procurement funding, Research and Development (R&D) may not be accomplished under this program, and the targeted solution must have a TRL of 7 or greater.
This Pre-Solicitation Conferenceis directed toward potential contractors who have demonstrated experience in the Degraded Visual Environment System (DVES) modification. The Government will use the information gathered from the Pre-Solicitation Conferencefor the development of theHH-60G DVES Program. Further, this information will help the Government structure a program that will mitigate cost, schedule and performance risks.
