A Sources Sought Notice for this requirement was previously posted on August 24, 2015, under NNM15558047L to include a Request for Information (RFI).
The DRFP is not a solicitation but is issued as an acquisition planning instrument and as a means of soliciting industry comments for use in developing the RFP. This draft does not commit MSFC to pay any proposal preparation costs, nor does it obligate NASA MSFC to procure or contract for these activities. This request should not be construed as authorization to proceed with, or be paid for charges incurred by performing any of the work called for in this DRFP.
The purpose of the DRFP is to assist the Government in developing the highest quality RFP. Prospective Offerors in accordance with NFS 1815.201, Exchanges with Industry Before Receipt of Proposals, are invited to: (1) comment on all aspects of the draft RFP, including the requirements, schedules, proposal instructions, and evaluation approaches; (2) identify unnecessary or inefficient requirements; and (3) comment on any perceived safety, occupational, health, security (including information technology security), environmental, export control, or other programmatic risk issues associated with performance of the work.
