This notice seeks proposals to engineer, furnish, install, and test fiber optic cable connections from multiple information transfer buildings to various end buildings at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The magnitude of proposed construction is estimated between $500,000 to $1 million. Six strands of new single mode fiber optic cable will be installed to connect seven building pairs. Firms must register in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award.

The Work performed under this Contract shall consist of engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing (EFI&T) fiber optic cable (FOC) from new 12 strand single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (FOC) from Information Transfer Building (ITB) 1101 to End Building (EB) 468; ITB 4705 to EB 4605; ITB 2801 to EB 4106; and ITB 2801 to EB 3501, EB 4225 to EB 3501, and ITB 4705 to EB 3501 to include engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing new hand holes, and conduit systems at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB) as specified in the Statement of Objectives (SOO).

This acquisition will be conducted as a Total Small Business Set Aside, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. Interested Small Business sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210. The size standard is $16.5 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the Beta SAM Website: http://beta.sam.gov on/or around 8 Jul 2020 with a tentative closing date of 7 Aug 2020. The contract performance period will be 120 days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.

All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) DoD Database prior to any subsequent award. SAM Registration may be accomplished online at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
