Update #1 ·
This is a revision to a previously posted synopsis for a solicitation for analyses and assessments supporting the development, integration, implementation and/or fielding of required new capabilities for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as well as monitoring and maintaining the adequacy and operation of existing DHS capabilities. Analytical support efforts are intended to be focused on developing and delivering analysis reports, objective assessments, documents, and recommended plans to address the mission needs, capabilities, and requirements of the Joint Requirements Council/Science & Technology Directorate for a broad range of critical homeland security disciplines.
The anticipated contract will have a one year base period of performance and four one-year option periods.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
The solicitation will be made available through the GPE.
The solicitation will not be set aside for small businesses.
This synopsis was originally posted as HSHQDC-17-R-00006 on November 10, 2016 (see https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DHS/OCPO/DHS-OCPO/HSHQDC-17-R-00006/listing.html). This revision is being posted separately due to editing limitations with the FBO system. The original synopsis could not be edited to allow vendors to add themselves to the Interested Vendors List. The Interested Vendors List is being made publicly viewable to assist vendors in making teaming arrangements should they choose to do so.
This revision does not extend the 15 day period that a synopsis must be posted before a solicitation is posted.
The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation before the end of the 2016 calendar year. The Government anticipates that the solicitation will be open for a thirty calendar day period. If the solicitation is posted before December 2, 2016, the closing date will be extended to avoid a closing date that falls during the last week of December.
