Update #4 ·
The purposes of this amendment are as follows:
1. To amend the answer given to a question posted in Amendment 002 to the RFP. Question #3 in Amendment 002 asked if travel will be disallowed under Task Order 1. NIST's response was "As the Boulder, CO campus is considered one of the primary duty/work stations of the task order, there will not be a separate line item in the task order where the contractor can bill for travel costs." The Government is hereby revising its response to this question. The revised answer to the question of whether travel will be disallowed under Task Order 1 is: "Travel is not expected to be required for completion of Task Order 1. However, should an offeror require the proposal of travel costs, the offeror shall propose its travel costs under a 'new' CLIN 0003 as described in the amended Section L Instructions to Offerors."
2. To amend Section L- Instructions to Offerors to incorporate new instructions regarding the proposal of travel costs, if needed. See attached Section L- Instructions to Offerors Amendment 003.
3. To amend the Task Order 1 SOW (originally posted as "Attachment 4- Task Order 1 SOW") to add a statement that travel costs, if required, would be paid in accordance with Federal Travel Regulation.
4. To extend the proposal submission deadline from 5:00 PM Eastern February 15, 2019 to 5:00 PM Eastern February 21, 2019.
