This pre-solicitation seeks qualified vendors to design, fabricate, deliver, and install comprehensive signage systems to address Environment of Care (EOC) deficiencies across multiple buildings on the campus. The project requires creating modular, interchangeable signage including mandatory entrance policy signs, room identification signs, wayfinding directionals, and code and life safety stairwell signage that must comply with VA Office of Construction and Facilities Management requirements and ADA guidelines. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and possess capabilities in sign manufacturing under NAICS code 339950 with a size standard of 500 employees. The response deadline is July 17, 2025, at 13:00 Eastern Time, with interested parties able to contact Contracting Officer Jeffrey Fleming at Jeffrey.Fleming@va.gov.
This opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), though the government is also seeking information from other small business categories including 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). The signage project involves sophisticated design elements including aluminum frames, magnetic inserts, and Braille translations, requiring vendors to coordinate closely with VA Interior Designers through multiple design phases. Installation must be completed by May 4, 2026, indicating a project timeline of approximately 10 months from the sources sought deadline. The procurement structure will be a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order, though no specific contract value or budget range has been disclosed in this preliminary market research phase. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are mentioned in the sources sought documentation.
