About this file

This is a Sources Sought Notice for a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) interior signage project at the Edward J. Boland Medical Center Campus in Leeds, MA. The VA is seeking qualified vendors, with a preference for small businesses including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), to design, fabricate, deliver, and install comprehensive signage to address Environment of Care (EOC) deficiencies. The project involves creating modular, interchangeable signage across multiple buildings, including mandatory entrance policy signs, room identification signs, wayfinding directionals, and code and life safety stairwell signage.

Key project details include a response deadline of 07-17-2025 at 13:00 Eastern Time, with installation to be completed by 05/04/2026. The solicitation targets NAICS code 339950 (Sign Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees, and requires vendors to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The signage must comply with VA Office of Construction and Facilities Management requirements, incorporating specific design elements such as aluminum frames, magnetic inserts, Braille translations, and adherence to ADA guidelines. Interested vendors must be prepared to coordinate closely with VA Interior Designers through multiple design phases and meet strict installation and fabrication specifications.
