About this opportunity
This solicitation from the Federal Emergency Management Agency seeks proposals to provide ten mobile vaccination units for a period of 90 days, with an option for an additional 30 days, to support COVID-19 vaccine distribution efforts throughout multiple locations in the United States. Offerors must demonstrate experience providing mobile medical units and wraparound services, the ability to reconfigure units as needed, and must meet equipment specifications outlined in the Statement of Work. Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, technical approach, management capabilities, and past performance, and must be submitted by August 10, 2021 to be considered.
There is no set-aside designation for this requirement. The place of performance will be within the United States. Medical personnel and vaccines will be provided by state and local governments rather than the contractor. Each self-contained mobile unit must be able to store and distribute vaccines from a freezer, include enclosed and outdoor workspace, and accommodate inoculation of patients across ten vaccination stations under an exterior awning. The contractor will also provide logistical, transportation, and maintenance services to support rotation of the ten units among locations to be determined by FEMA through August 14, 2021.
Notice text
FEMA requires mobile vaccination unit (MVU) capability to provide vaccine distribution for Type V application in multiple locations throughout the United States in support of the nation’s response to the COVID -19 pandemic. A Type V community vaccination center is defined as a federally operated mobile site to include self-hauling capability, with outdoor sheltered vaccination stations. The medical personnel and vaccines will be provided by the SLTT or Region, not the contractor.
