About this file
This document is a comprehensive construction bid set for the Zephyrhills Airport Hangars project located in Zephyrhills, Florida, prepared in May 2025 with project number D3779504. The project involves designing and constructing a new aircraft storage hangar, apron improvements, and related site developments at the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport. The bid set includes detailed specifications across multiple divisions, covering everything from concrete and wood framing to thermal insulation, metal panels, electrical systems, and accessories. The specifications provide extensive technical requirements for materials, installation methods, performance standards, and quality control, with specific attention to structural integrity, thermal performance, and weatherproofing.
The project appears to be funded by the City of Zephyrhills and will involve constructing a metal building system with specific performance requirements, including wind load resistance, thermal movement accommodations, and energy efficiency standards. The specifications indicate compliance with various building codes, including the Florida Building Code and energy conservation requirements. The project emphasizes sustainable design elements, with specifications for materials that meet environmental and performance standards, such as low-VOC products, recycled content materials, and energy-efficient components. The bid documents provide comprehensive technical guidance for contractors, including detailed drawings, material specifications, installation procedures, and quality control requirements, suggesting a complex and technically rigorous construction project with high standards for design and execution.
