This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) addendum issued by the City of Orlando, Florida for Water Conserv II WRF Equalization Pump Station Improvements (IFB26-0520). The project encompasses furnishing and installing equalization pumping equipment, electrical equipment, instrumentation and controls systems, and associated work at the Water Reclamation Facility. The scope includes demolition and modification of the existing equalization pump station structure, selective concrete demolition, structural repairs, new mechanical and electrical systems, and HVAC components. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the project site (5420 L.B. McLeod Road, Orlando, FL 32811). The pricing proposal consists of seven line items structured as lump sum amounts: all work not separately listed, mobilization and demobilization (capped at 3 percent of total base bid), general requirements including payment and performance bonds and insurance, equalization pumping equipment, electrical equipment, instrumentation and controls systems, and a permit allowance of $25,000. Respondents must submit a completed Vendor Questionnaire, Small and Local Business Enterprise Participation Form, and DUNS number. The contractor is responsible for utility damage costs, temporary drainage, dewatering, erosion control, and area restoration. All piping must achieve 95 to 98 percent compaction density with hydrostatic testing at specified pressures (200 PSI for potable water, 150 PSI for reclaimed water, 100 PSI minimum for force mains for two hours). Final as-built drawings sealed by a Florida licensed surveyor are required before system activation.
