Product Description Industrial Hygiene Sampling Equipment with 5 years of Annual Maintenance/Calibration Services Arlington National Cemetery (ANC)

1. BACKGROUND: Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) is our nation's most sacred shrine and the final resting place for our most revered military and civilian leaders. Due to the sensitivity and significance of the mission at ANC, the cemetery must be maintained to the highest level of standards and uniformity. The Safety Office was tasked to procure Industrial Hygiene Sampling Equipment, which is needed to properly evaluate the exposure of ANC workforce to hazardous noise, chemicals, gases, dusts, fumes and mists, as well as performing heat index monitoring throughout the year. In accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, ANC is required to identify and properly evaluate the worker’s exposure to hazardous conditions in order to ensure they are enrolled in the proper medical surveillance programs. ANC has established a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Rader Clinic, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, to perform the aforementioned services to adequately monitor the physical environment of the ANC workplace. However, ANC Superintendent decided to procure our own equipment to ensure equipment is available and ready to use so our personnel’s exposures can be monitored and documented as required by federal law.
