Perfom visual checks to ensure the files reflect recorded construction conditions and that there are no unintended elements and/or artifacts in the models and drawings.
1.6 CONTRACTOR COORDINATION
The Contractor's shall provide digital file updates to subcontractors.
Provide drawing files in the format(s) required by the subcontractors.
Establish and maintain a schedule of CAD coordination meetings for subcontractors and field personnel to ensure that all changes and corrections are incorporated into the as-built drawings.
PART 2 PRODUCTS
2.1 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL
The Government will provide CAD files and reference drawings which include the original construction drawings for the structure and several renovations as Government Furnished Material (GFM) for the Contractor's use. The GFM will include Autodesk AutoCAD digital files created for producing the Contract Drawings. The information and level of detail contained in the GFM shall be maintained in the Record Drawings.
The Contractor has the option of preparing their own CAD drawings as a basis for Record CAD drawings, and interim submittals. If so, the drawings must incorporate the same level of detail, properties, and functionality that is included in the GFM.
2.1.1 Variation with Contract Drawings
The Government makes no warranty that the the GFM CAD files and reference drawings are complete or fully consistent with the Contract Drawings. The digital CAD files provided are not part of the Contract Documents. If there is any discrepency between the CAD Drawings, the reference drawings, and the Contract Drawings, the Contract Drawings shall govern. The Government has no responsibility to modify any GFMs due to changes in the design that occur after award.

2.1.3 Data Loss, Corruption, and Error
Transfer of GFM files to the Contractor may result in corrupted files resulting in data loss and/or errors. Use of GFM files is at the Contractor's risk. Verify data integrity upon receipt and request a replacement if necessary.
Any adjustment of file structure, format, or software version required to make GFM compatible with the Contractor's computer systems and/or software is the responsibility of the Contractor.
