Special Event Entry Access List Instructions

Due to increased security at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst the information required for an Entry Access List (EAL) has changed.

The EAL will be typed or computer generated, not handwritten. The list of names must be alphabetical (A-Z), by last name and will be presented to the Joint Base MDL Welcome Centers by the sponsor of the event by one of the following methods.

McGuire/Dix E-mailed to 87sfs.police@mcguire.af.mil Hand delivered to Bldg 3021 / McGuire Gate Welcome Center

Lakehurst E-mailed to 87sfs.lakehurstWC@us.af.mil Hand delivered to BLDG 620 / Lakehurst Welcome Center Faxed to (732)323-1387

The Welcome Center will approve/disapprove the EAL after checking the information included. Minimum timeframe for submitting an EAL is 3 business (72hrs) days prior to the event for EALs containing 100 or less visitors, and 5 business days prior to the event for EALs containing over 100 visitors. EALs not provided in the minimum timeframe prior to the event will not be accepted and visitors will be denied access to the installation.

Information to include on the EAL:

· Sponsor’s name (must be a DoD ID card holder)

· Name of event or function

· Where it will take place on Joint Base MDL or Military Housing

· What time the event will begin and the approximate time it will end.

For those attending and or supporting the event we will require the following:

· To be considered a Special Event there must be 5 or more adults attending event.

· Full name including middle initial

· Driver’s license number along with which state the driver’s license was issued. If a guest does not have a driver’s license or state ID, a Date of Birth can be provided as a last resort. Providing a Date of Birth is not recommended and can result in being denied access.

· If a Date of Birth is provided as a last resort, the sponsor must provide the visitor’s complete name including the middle name. Failure to provide the middle name will result in the EAL being rejected.

· Each person MUST have a valid state or federal issued photo ID with them to gain access to Joint Base MDL

· Children under the age of 18 are exempted from having a photo ID.

· Children under the age of 18 do not have to be announced on the EAL.

Unexpected arrivals that may not be indicated on your EAL will not be allowed entry and will require authorization to enter the base via Joint Base MDL welcome centers.

The Security Forces Commander may cancel entry authority for this event at any time if Force Protection Conditions increase or a specific threat is perceived that could put the event attendees in danger.

This information is required so law enforcement screening can be accomplished for each and every person that you are sponsoring on to the installation.

As the sponsor, you are responsible for all individuals that enter the installation on this EAL.

Many times we have to remind individuals that Joint Base MDL is first and foremost a military installation. As such the security and safety of this base and personnel is priority 1.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to call P/O Kimberly Kaminski Joint Base MDL Special Event Coordinator (609)754-8292/3938 or the Joint Base MDL Welcome Center Supervisor (609)754-3003
