MOBILE AMMUNITION SURVEILLANCE INSPECTION WORKSHOPS
1 SCOPE
1.1 Scope: This SOW establishes the performance, design, test, manufacture, and acceptance requirements for one (1) Mobile Ammunition Surveillance Inspection Workshop.
The Workshop is to be used for the year round surveillance inspection of stored ammunition.
Items inspected will include small arms ammunition, mortars, grenades, rocket systems, pyrotechnics, land mines, and other similar type items. The Workshop will be capable of being mounted on a semi-trailer flatbed for road transport. *** Note: The overall height of Workshop mounted on tractor trailer will not exceed 13’-6’’***. A generator, separate from the Workshop but integrated on the same trailer, shall provide complete electrical power for the Workshop. A door with panic hardware will be located at each end of the Workshop to facilitate rapid evacuation. The interior of the Workshop is a National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Class 1, Division 2, Groups C and D and Class II, Division 2, Groups E, F, and G hazardous location. Emergency lighting will be available inside the Workshop and on the outside at each end to permit personnel to vacate the semi-trailer in the event of power failure. Subject to severe transportation loads during normal operations, the Workshop will be designed and tested to the specifications of International Standards Organization (ISO) thermal containers despite its nonstandard size and materials.
1.2 Classification: The equipment supplied under this SOW shall be fabricated, assembled, and integrated by a manufacturer having been engaged in the design and manufacture and integration of trailer mounted transportable shelters. The Workshop shall be manufactured and delivered within nine (9) months from date of contract award.

For the purpose of this requirement, recovered materials are those materials, which have been collected from solid waste and reprocessed to become a source of raw materials, as distinguished from virgin raw materials.
The components, pieces and parts incorporated in the container may be newly fabricated from recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable provided the container produced meets all the requirements of this specification. The recovered materials shall have been reprocessed, remanufactured, or recycled in a manner that has restored them to the same composition and physical properties as the materials originally selected for use. The use of recovered parts as is, or rebuilt from scrap or other used equipment shall not be permitted.
