Question (1): Bldg 139 Please see page 7 of 11 / 3.7 Drawer Configuration - Table 1 The 5-drawer cabinet is listing 11 drawers / what 5 drawers would they like Please review and advise.
-The Building 139 PD has been updated to show the 5-drawer layout.
Question(2): Hangar 9 - flow rack May I assume that the "A", "B" & "C" lines are identical and that they are single 108" wide sections per noted area?
Also - I see return conveyor on your drawing, but do not see it listed in the requirement. Are those
Government provided equipment?
-Return gravity roller conveyor sections shall be provided. The Hanger 9 PD has been updated to better reflect this.
Question(3):The mobile system in Bldg.139. PDF drawing is not clear - is there just a single section of rack per carriage? (Carriage length nominal 108") or multiple?
-One bay of rack shall be on each carriage.
Question (4) : Hanger #9 :: Can the back to back shelving units that are on the Mobile Aisles, have common back panel or should each row be separate? Vs. back to back as one.
-If storage capacity requirements are met, a shared back panel is acceptable for back to back bin shelving.
Question (5): Hanger #7:: You have the 463L racks at 8’ inside dimension. My records from last year show the ISU 70’s at 8’ tall. I think we need at least 6” more of clearance. Is my O.A.Ht. of the ISU wrong at 8’? Please confirm ht. of them and the ISU 90’s.
-ISU70s are 69”H and ISU90s are 91.35”H. The ISU70s will be stored below the racking so the specified dimensions should be sufficient to meet the storage requirement.
Question (6): Hanger #7 :: You are not clear on layout or quantities of the Wide Span Shelving for Mobile
Aisle, and how you want it laid out. See my att. sketch for what I think I see. Please confirm. Note you have 1 “F” on the wall to the right of the system, please confirm that as one unit.
-There shall be a total of 9 Rows of Type F Wide-Span rack located on the Mobile Aisle in Hanger
7. Each row shall be 2 bays deep of Type F rack for a total of 18 bays within the system. An additional Type F rack shall be located near, but not inside the mobile aisle. The mobile aisle shall be configured from left to right as such: a single stationary carriage, a movable carriage for a single row of rack, three movable carriages with back to back rows, and finally another movable single row carriage.
Question (7) Building 139 :: Need Clarity on the Mobile Aisle area layout. 8 units will not fit very well. MFG. does not recommend. According to the drwg. we only have 316” to work with. See att.
layout for what he does recommend. Please confirm that is OK.
-AF Drawing NSL630-02 had the layout portion indicating shelving was 2’D while the details indicated 3’D. The intended depth of this racking is 2’ which should alleviated any space concerns.
Drawing NSL630-02 has been updated to reflect this.
