Outdoor Recreation (ODR) Specifications Summary

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) and specifications document for renovation work at Buckley Space Force Base, Building 1022. The project involves replacing and installing a new L-shaped front counter with two ski desks, new cabinets with storage and whiteboard on the back wall, and associated electrical, wall, and flooring repairs. The front counter dimensions are 125 inches by 275 inches with a 3-foot-wide countertop surface that must support a static distributed load of 300 pounds. The countertop must include an ADA-compliant section in both height and width. All work must comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and OSHA standards.

Contractors must conduct a mandatory site visit prior to bidding to verify scope, document site conditions, and provide accurate measurements. The countertop material must be one-piece, seamless, 100% acrylic solid surface with minimal seams, approved by the ODR Director for color, and include a waterfall or half-round edge with a 4-inch backsplash. All materials must be Buy America Act compliant. The contractor is responsible for demolition and disposal of existing cabinets and counters, all material procurement and storage, electrical conduit installation from a single power box, wall and floor repairs caused by renovation, and final cleanup. The project will be one continuous phase, with the contractor required to submit product approval sheets pre-award, coordinate scheduling with Air Force Nonappropriated Funds Procurement Office (AFNAFPO) and the ODR Manager post-award, and complete a final walkthrough with the ODR Manager for punch list items before project completion.
