Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend this conference and site visit.
All interested parties must pre-register for the conference and site visit. To pre-register, submit your name and company name to Mrs. Deborah Johnson by e-mail at Deborah.L.Johnson@dla.mil NLT 18 March 2022 at 10:00am EST.
To Register participants MUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS IN ATTACHMENT 3- “DDJC Access Requirements”. Participant will be required to present proper photo identification (i.e.
driver’s license, passport, etc.) on the day of the conference/site visit. Security Officers will perform a physical check of each participant’s photo identification against the list of pre-registered participants. A Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Police Officer will be on board the bus to facilitate the security check prior to the site visit. Entry to the sites will be denied if participants are not on the tour bus, are not registered, and/or do not provide proper identification
Participants are advised that the Site Visit involves walking through buildings and walking up stairs. Please indicate any special needs to Acquisition Specialist, Deborah Johnson, when you pre-register to ensure proper accommodations can be arranged. Dress code for the conference and site visit is casual. Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes while walking throughout the installation.
Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. Any changes to the solicitation will only be provided by written amendments. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. In no event will failure to attend the pre-proposal conference constitute grounds for a claim after award of the contract.
The approximate agenda is as follows:
Site Visit Attendees will need to report to Pass & ID Office is located just outside the holding area. After clearance is received by Pass& ID personnel, attendees will board a bus and the tour will start.
Government Solicitation Presentation and Overview Tentative Agenda:
0700-0800- Registration / Pass & ID, 08:00- Transportation to Building / Site Visit to different Areas
Photos are NOT authorized to be taken on base under any circumstance.
The use of Cell phones with digital cameras or cameras of any kind is strictly prohibited during the tour. Cell phones with digital cameras shall be left on the bus during the site visit.
Only questions of general nature will be addressed during any of the pre-proposal conference.
Questions of specific nature can be submitted in writing to Deborah Johnson at Deborah.L.Johnson@dla.mil. All questions will be compiled and submitted to subject matter experts. The questions and answers will then be posted to Sam Beta for all participants to access.
