Visitor Pre-enrollment Portal

To meet J6 Information Security requirements, the current process for submitting visitor requests will end December 31, 2019. The new process will require all visitors to submit their information on the secure Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Pre-Enrollment Portal to initiate the vetting process by performing the following steps:

Step 1: DLA Personnel also known as the sponsor, will send all of their visitors or contractors requesting access, the DBIDS secure pre-enrollment portal located at http://dbids.dmdc.mil. This link will be located on the visitor notification button on Sharepoint.

Step 2: Visitor(s) will complete the five step enrollment process. Once completed, the user will receive a six digit alpha-numeric confirmation code.

Step 3: The Visitor will send the six digit confirmation code to their Sponsor.

Step 4: The Sponsor will be required to populate the columns highlighted in blue of the mandatory excel spreadsheet as seen in the example below:

Step 5:When all highlighted fields have been completed, the sponsor will encrypt and forward the spreadsheet to DM-FJPass_and_ID@dla.mil . As before, if a visitor has not been cleared for access, the sponsor will be notified.

*Please Note* Sponsors are still required to submit visit requests 3 working days prior to the requested visit to ensure no unnecessary delays at Pass and ID.

Supervisors/Managers with questions regarding this process can call Mr. Thomas Johnson @ 209-839-4351 or email at Thomas.C.Johnson@dla.mil image3.tmp image1.png image2.tmp image4.png
