About this file
This is a sample label submission form for the Pinellas County School District's sealed electronic bid solicitation for comprehensive electrical supplies. The document provides a template that bidders must use to label sample packages submitted in response to the bid. The bid solicitation encompasses 27 product categories including conduit and accessories, raceways, wire and cable, lighting components, distribution equipment, motor controls, wiring devices, and miscellaneous hardware from manufacturers such as GE, Eaton Cutler-Hammer, and Siemens/ITE. All line items within each category must be bid for a response to be considered responsive. Electronic bids are due no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, through the OpenGov Procurement Portal. The District will evaluate bids between March 30 and April 13, 2026, with a Notice of Intent to Award posted May 1, 2026, and School Board approval estimated for May 19, 2026. The contract period commences May 19, 2026, and concludes May 18, 2027, with renewal options for two additional one-year periods by mutual consent or unilateral extension for up to three additional 30-day periods.
Award will be determined by category based on the highest average discount applied to third-column pricing from the Tra-Ser SX Electrical web-based software system, though the District reserves the right to award by line item, section, or aggregate total as deemed most advantageous. The District estimates the annual contract value at approximately $950,000 and applies a 5 percent preference to Florida-based bidders when competing against out-of-state suppliers whose states do not grant reciprocal preferences. Bidders must submit compliance documentation including a Human Trafficking Affidavit, Statement of Principal Place of Business, Sworn Statement under Florida Statutes Section 287.133(3)(a), Drug Free Workplace Certification, Debarment Form AD-1048, E-Verify compliance evidence, and at least three references from the past three years. Contractors must obtain General Liability Insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, Automotive Liability Insurance with minimum limits of $300,000 Combined Single Limit, and Workers' Compensation Insurance at statutory state limits within ten working days of contract award, with the School Board listed as an Additional Insured. Price escalation or de-escalation at renewal periods is permitted not to exceed the previous year's Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers change.
