The Memphis VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee has a requirement for a healthcare construction contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment and expert supervision needed to construct building 7 spinal cord injury (SCI)/D outpatient addition north in accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings provided.
This project will construct an approximately 8,000 gross square feet addition to Building 7 and renovate approximately 9,850 gross square feet. The addition will be to the A-wing north and east of the building on the 1st and 2nd floors. Grade level is at the 2nd floor. Functions affected by the project include Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder (SCI/D) Outpatient Clinic, SCI/D Pharmacy SCI/D Administration, Simulation Laboratory, and the National Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Offices. The relocation of these services will create vacant space that will be utilized by future construction and renovation.
Healthcare construction contractor to prepare site for new building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures. Work includes new chiller and cooling tower, delivery of new heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC).
NAICS Code 236220 and PSC Y1DB is applicable to this procurement action. The small business size standard is $39.5M.
The estimated range of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
This requirement will be procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-2, as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process. The evaluation factors and sub-factors to be set forth in the solicitation, that will be available for download from the www.beta.sam.gov website on or by January 26, 2021.
