TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL/TRANSFER GRANT
I. Amount and Use of Grant Funds
The Grantee will use Grant funds only for the activities related to the agreed event in accordance with the Grantee’s proposal and discussions with IAF personnel.
II. Disbursements
Disbursements will be made in the currency mutually determined by the [Contractor] and the Grantee. Disbursements made in currency other than U.S. currency will be made at the official rate of exchange at the time of disbursement.
III. International Air Travel
The Grantee will use U.S.-flag air carriers for international air transportation to the extent that service by those carriers is available. U.S. flag carrier service is considered available even though (a) a comparable or a different kind of service can be provided at less cost by a foreign-flag carrier or (b) foreign-flag air carrier service is preferred for the Grantee.
IV. Financial Records Relating to Grant
[Contractor] will submit to the IAF a financial summary and receipts for any Grant expenses for which it directly paid. The Grantee will be responsible to also submit summary of expenses and all relevant receipts for any hotel and airfare or expenditure greater than US$75 covered with Grant funds (except for individual per diem) to the IAF or [Contractor].
[Contractor] will disburse any withheld Grant funds upon receiving and reviewing the Grantee’s financial summary and receipts.
V. Interest Earned on Grant Funds
Interest earned on Grant funds will be considered additional Grant funds and may be used only for activities mutually agreed upon between the IAF and the Grantee. All interest earned and use of such funds must be reported to the [Contractor] or the IAF.
VI. Return of Unused Grant Funds Upon Expiration of Agreement
The Grantee will return to the [Contractor] any Grant funds and interest earned that are not used for Grant activities as outlined in the Grant documents, unless mutually agreed in writing between The IAF and the Grantee.

VII. Travel Report
Upon completion of Grant activities, the Grantee will submit within ten (10) days all documents and reports to the contractor as described in the Letter for the Grant.
VIII. Modifications of the Grant
The Grant may be amended by mutual written agreement between the Grantee and CHP International with the concurrence of the IAF. The IAF reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of the Grant unilaterally.
IX. Reprogramming of Grant Funds
The Grantee retains the right to alter travel plans as necessary, as long as the changes do not undermine the purpose of the Grant. The Grantee will advise [Contractor] of any change in advance, if possible. Any change that requires additional funding will not be covered by the Grant without the IAF prior written approval. Any additional costs incurred due to changes in travel plans made solely for the personal convenience of the traveler shall be the responsibility of the Grantee. Any alterations to travel plans due to reasons beyond the Grantee’s control (e.g., civil unrest, natural disasters, health problems and other unexpected situations) may be addressed with the IAF on a case-by-case basis.
X. Language of Agreement
The Grant documents have been prepared in both English and, as a courtesy, the official language of the Grantee’s country. For purposes of interpretation, the English language version of the Agreement will control.

This agreement will be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States of America.
