About this file
This is an RFP Exception Sheet for Fleet Management Consulting Services issued by the City of Indianapolis and Marion County through the Department of Public Works. The RFP solicits proposals for fleet management consulting services, with submissions due no later than 12:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2026. The exception sheet template requires bidders to document in detail any and all exceptions to the terms and conditions outlined in the primary RFP document and the sample agreement, including any proposed additions or modifications to the City's standard terms and conditions as well as exceptions to any addenda acknowledgements published on the Purchasing Division website prior to the proposal deadline.
The exception sheet serves as a critical submission component where prospective contractors must clearly articulate their deviations from the City's standard contractual requirements. Bidders are expected to provide comprehensive explanations for each exception claimed, with the instruction to add additional pages as necessary to fully document their proposed modifications. This document functions as a mechanism for the City to transparently evaluate how each proposer intends to vary from established procurement standards and baseline contractual language.
