About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for Request for Proposal (RFP) #10834 issued by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Office of Prevention Services, seeking proposals for innovative juvenile delinquency prevention programs. The RFP targets community organizations, faith-based groups, non-profits, LLCs, and local government entities to develop comprehensive programs for youth aged 10-17 in Florida, with a focus on evidence-based mentoring services in high delinquency and low-performing school districts. Key dates include a solicitation release on October 1, 2024, a solicitation conference call on October 18, 2024, and a deadline for written questions on October 22-30, 2024. The contract is expected to begin on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2028, with potential renewal options consistent with Florida statutes.
The addendum updates several critical elements of the original RFP, including modifications to the calendar of events and contract start/end dates. Specifically, the contract period was revised from an initial proposed start of February 24, 2025, to July 1, 2025, with an end date of June 30, 2028. The document provides detailed instructions for potential respondents, including submission requirements for the Intent to Attend Solicitation Conference form and guidelines for submitting written questions. The RFP encompasses multiple UNSPSC codes (93141500 through 93141507) and emphasizes the need for proposals that demonstrate corporate oversight, governance approvals, and a clear execution plan for the proposed mentoring services.
