About this file
This document is a Definitions attachment (Attachment D) for a Performance Work Statement (PWS) related to the T56 Series engine maintenance contract. The document provides comprehensive definitions for technical and contractual terms specific to aircraft engine repair and maintenance, including detailed explanations of maintenance levels (Organizational, Intermediate, Depot), quality management terminology, and key contract administration concepts. Critical definitions cover areas such as non-conforming materials (categorized into critical, major, and minor levels), maintenance activities, property classifications, and supply chain risk management processes. The definitions are specifically tailored to support a contract involving the repair, overhaul, and remanufacturing of T56 engine modules, components, and complete engines for the United States Air Force, Navy, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries.
