This announcement serves as the pre-solicitation notice for a Design Build (D/B) Construction Services Contract to support Grand Canyon National Park, Intermountain Region. This contract will primarily consist of designing and constructing the replacements for failed concrete bus braking pads at various locations along Hermit Road, and designing and replacing concrete braking pads at the South Entrance Station at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. THE SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. Offers will NOT be accepted from businesses that are not certified Small Business Contractors.

This will be awarded on a Lump Sum basis. Competition will be based on “Best Value” or Lowest Price Technically Acceptable as stated within the Bid Schedule Instructions The NAICS for this acquisition is 238110, with a size standard of $33.5 Million Dollars. Technical factors 1 through 2 and their sub-factors are listed in descending order of importance. All evaluation factors other than price, when combined, are equal in importance to price. The proposal offering the best value will receive the award. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 May 2015 and proposals will be due on or about 18 June 2015 and award is anticipated by June 2015.
